What if the film 𝑀𝒾𝓈𝓈 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓃𝒾𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎 was made into a new Broadway musical? Lyricist Michael Shield and composer Michael O'Dell explored just that in their BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop second year project.

SONG PREMISE:

Remember the Michael Cain's snobby British character Victor Melling? In the film he helps FBI Agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) with her makeover and transformation. Here is that moment in song when Victor responds to Gracie's doubts about her impending makeover.

"My Summer of Yes" from 𝓜𝔂 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓓𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓼

What if the 2023 short animated film 𝓜𝔂 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓓𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓼 was adapted into a Broadway musical? Composer & Lyricist Michael O'Dell explored just that in his BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop second year solo project.

𝓜𝔂 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓓𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓼 tells the the sweet 1990 coming-of-age story about sixteen year-old Pam from Houston, Texas. In the twenty-five minute short film, Pam is determined to lose her virginity, much to hilarious, and sometimes heartbreaking, results.

Pam makes the decision that her summer is going to be a memorable one.
